Our History
Whilst the real roots of Nebula Audio probably go back to 1988, it is 1996 that is most prominent when a small company called M+D Design moved from the garage adjacent to the owners home into industrial units 16 miles away in Hartlebury.
Even before the move, M+D had supplied many systems, via other installers, to major clients including New Scotland Yard, CSFB at Canary Wharf, Royal Armories, Legoland among many others.
With the move came more major contracts, but now under the M+D Banner, as well as the commencement of manufacturing specialised control equipment and interfaces. Both divisions grew over the years until in early 2002 the decision was taken to create two separate companies and dissolve M+D Design.
Ikon AVS Ltd continues the manufacture of AV control and connectivity products ( www.ikonavs.com ) whilst Nebula Audio Ltd continues the Design, assemble, installation & commissioning of systems.
