Our History
Whilst the real roots of Nebula Audio probably go back to 1988, it is 1996 that is most prominent when a small company called M+D Design moved from the garage adjacent to the owners home into industrial units 16 miles away in Hartlebury.
Even before the move, M+D had supplied many systems, via other installers, to major clients including New Scotland Yard, CSFB at Canary Wharf, Royal Armories, Legoland among many others.
In 2002 the decision was taken to split into two companies, Nebula Audio for installations and trade support services and iKON AVS for the manufacturing of specialised control equipment. After 10 years as separate companies, a move in premises along with changes in the AV market made it prudent to recombine operations under the one company, Nebula Audio Ltd.
Ikon AVS continues as a brand name for the manufacture of AV control and connectivity products ( www.ikonavs.com ) whilst Nebula Audio Ltd continues the Design, assemble, installation & commissioning of systems.
